Back up your mailbox in Apple Mail

Export the data from your mailbox from Apple Mail to make a backup.

With a backup you can afterwards also  import mails and calendars  on another computer.

Follow these steps in Apple Mail: 

1. Go via the navigation bar at the top to “Mailbox”> “Export mailbox …”.
2. Choose a location to save the files and click “Choose”
3. The export file is created. Save it.
