How to configure my Exchange mailbox in Mac Mail?

Sometimes the mail client will accept your settings and declare the setup done, even though there is something missing. Then you will experience a strange behavior of your mailbox – it will receive but not send messages or vice versa.

  1. Open the mail client (Mac Mail /Mail.app).
  2. At the top follow “Mail” > “Preferences”.Mail > Preferences
  3. Switch to the “Accounts” tab.Tab 'General'

  4. Click on the plus sign in the bottom left corner of the window.plus sign in the bottom left corner
    1. Enter your full name.
    2. Write down your full email address like so: mail@domain.com.
    3. Write down your password.Fill in your name, email address and password
  5. Save by clicking on “Continue”.
