I can’t connect to the Veeam Cloud Connect Backup Service

Check whether you have completed the following steps:

  1. Place an order for the Veeam Cloud Connect Backup service at Combell
  2. Receive notification that the Veeam Cloud Connect Backup service has been activated
  3. Set a password for the server via Control panel
  4. In your Veeam software:
    • Set the address of Combell’s Veeam Cloud Connect Backup server
    • Set username and password

IMPORTANT:  Check whether your Veeam backup application has access to the Internet. The TCP ports: 443 and 6180 must be allowed through your firewall.

You should also try the solution above if you see one of the following error messages:

  • Error message: ‘Service provider can’t be set’
  • Error message: ‘No access to service provider’s backup repository’
